Character
Christopher has many character traits such as his want for independence, his inability to imagine the thoughts and feelings of others and his wide knowledge in science and math. Throughout the entire novel Christopher is constantly seeking the independence that a regular teenage boy would have. I believe that this crave for independence is one of the sole reasons for him to go to his mothers. Other than the fact that his dad was lying to him since the beginning of the book. But this lack of independence was his energy on his long journey. Another trait is his inability to imagine the thoughts and feelings of other people, when his dad was really mad at him and told him not to solve the case. Chris didn't take it in that way, he went and continued on his quest because he did not understand the emotions and instructions from his dad. Lastly, Christopher ability in science and math overcome every single person in his school. He used his math skills to create a chart on how to win on the reality TV show where you have to pick one of the doors. This was pretty impressive.

What was Christopher's strongest character trait?
ReplyDeleteAlthough Christopher has many strong character traits I do believe that his inability to understand other people is by far his strongest. This trait sticks out from the others because it really puts the reader in the head of an average autistic person.
