Most times, individuals judge others just by appearances and guesses but also, most times, they are wrong. A perfect example is Christopher John Francis Boone. Chris has a mental disability and just like in real life, people judge him without knowing how he thinks but only based on what he does. This is proven all over the book when they touch him and he gets angry or when he has a different way of thinking about things. Sometimes people are nice and mindful bit other times they brush him off or look at him differently. The novel also successfully shows that where one is lacking in a certain part, another part strives. Christopher is brilliant despite his disability. He is imaginative, brave, controlled, and excellent in Maths. Someone may be a little different on the outside but it's hard to judge so quickly without knowing so little about what you're looking at.

So, do you think that this is the best possible theme statement for this book? If so then why? Or why not?
